Proxemic Media, VAE Raleigh and The Black On Black Project will present Durham-based dance company KT Collective during the Third Friday Art Walk in Durham at Empower Dance Studio. KT Collective performed at the opening reception of "Black On Black V2" at VAE. 

During Third Friday, the performances will be full-length. RSVP via Facebook.

KT Collective will perform a work based on "Vignettes," which is in response to the mural downtown Durham by Odila Donald Odita. The collective will also perform "Not Myself," a piece inspired by the "30 Americans" exhibition that traveled the U.S.

Proxemic is a Durham-based arts consulting organization founded by Myra Weise, and brings dance to the Third Friday Durham Art Walk on Parrish Street and runs every month through November.

One of the goals of "Black On Black V2" is to get out of the gallery and activate in the community. Working with partners like Proxemic, KT Collective and and Empower Dance Studio allows us to do that.
