Join Pine Forest Education & Learning Center (PFELC) and the Black On Black Project on Sunday, November 8, 2026 for Roots & Remembrance: Restoration, an afternoon dedicated to preserving history, honoring those who came before us, and restoring access to one of Wilmington’s most historically significant burial grounds. Purchase tickets and donate here.

The event, which is the second in the series, will feature a short film premiere, live performance, historical presentation, and conversation about the importance of restoring the historic Pine Forest Cemetery. The event takes place at The Garage at DREAMS in Wilmington, North Carolina, and will be hosted by Michael S. Williams. Watch a recap of last year’s event here.
